A Bridge

Magic P and The Innuendos

I cannot sing the praises of this band enough, and they don’t try to either.

I’ve seen them play a number of times in York, and I never thought one of the best gigs I’d ever go to would be in a hot stuffy garage on a chilly spring night in a residential estate near the University of York.

They’re amazing, they’re energetic, they’ re funky, folk and upbeat. They’re like Flogging Molly without the lyrics (for now), but the violin and accordion carry you through regardless, like in the best Jazz where the instruments say more than any words can.

They have myspace,  they have a cd out, they throw frequent gigs in dark pubs and atmospheric venues – I suggest you click on that link and listen, just for two minutes. You’ll be hooked.
